The first thing that you should remember is that you should never bluff just to be bluffing. You should only use bluffing during certain situations and towards certain people. However, if you know that a player is known for calling your bluff until the knitty greedy, then you should not bluff that player because you can end up losing a bunch of money in the long run if you do. In fact it is better to not bluff at all if you are going to bluff just to be bluffing. Another thing that you should remember is that you shouldn’t stay in a hand just because you are already in the hand. Don’t think that just because you have already put money in the pot that you have to stay in the hand because you don’t. However, it is better to go ahead and fold than it is to play the hand out. Another thing that you should remember is that you shouldn’t make a call at the end of the hand just to make sure that you are keeping someone honest.
If you think that you honestly without a doubt actually have a chance then you can call but if you know that you have lost and there is no chance that you can win, then don’t give up anymore of your money and let the player take one moment of glory. There is one more tip that I would like to give you for when you are at the poker tables and that is that you should never bring your emotions to the table. When you are depressed or are just having a bad day then take the time to stay away from the table because this can cause you to lose as well.
