This is really just a general poker tip, but it still nabs even the poker pros at times. With poker, if you find that you are being outplayed, outclassed or just unlucky at the table, it’s ok to leave. Don’t think about getting your money back or getting revenge on the bastard that rivered you for the 3rd time now.

This should go without saying, but I am guessing many poker players are in voilation of this rule: If you are playing two or more games at once of different sizes, pay more attention to the bigger games.

Often its difficult to tell the difference between a poker player who clicked quickly and one who used a pre-select button while playing poker online. The difference matters, though, even though both responses come to you quickly.

There is more than one theory about how to play poker, early in an online tournament. But I believe there is just no reason to risk getting knocked out in the first round.

You need to play at an online poker room that you trust to pay you. If you are worried about getting paid if you win, you are in the worst kind of situation and I’d advise you to find a place to play where you are more comfortable.

Well, I achieved my goal. I won the $3K No-Limit Hold ’em tournament at the World Series of Poker, then one week later I won another bracelet in $2,500 Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw.
